Noise Exposure | One Last Hit

This is the sound of a Manchester band who seem to have discovered some kind of parallel existence underneath the Earth’s crust. Everything - bar tambourines and a guitar pedal - stems from an otherworldly location. Vocals are both lifeless and dead in the ground and yet, somehow, it’s these which hit the hardest, amongst Noise Exposure’s vast, expansive array of dark instrumentation. You learn to be lured towards the dark side, where there’s no way back.

With such a haunting vocal, it’s such a surprisingly smooth tune for something very dark, but I wouldn’t call it gothic, either.
