Lotus Plaza - Strangers
I’ve always found it interesting to listen to solo projects. It’s fun to me to figure out a member of a larger entity brings to the table. This is the solo project of Lockett Pundt, the guitarist for Deerhunter, and given the overall feeling and sound of this and other tracks I’ve heard from him it’s quite evident the vibe he brings. I remember flippin’ my lid when I heard ‘Desire Lines’ off Deerhunter’s latest Halcyon Digest and Lockett was able to showcase his vocal and full-on song writing abilities. So if like me where Desire Lines was your favorite song off Halcyon Digest then this track is definitely for you.
